Customised and Custom Made Products


Custom-Made products made to customer's specifications are non-returnable and non-refundable.  Customer is responsible for any costs incurred at any stage of manufacturing once the order has been placed and processed with Whittam Precision Rules.

 

In some cases, when a customer requires us to develop a new, unique product, we will do our best to satisfy their needs and requirements but can not absolutely guarantee the results and, therefore, the customer will be responsible for all the development costs incurred.

 

Minimum Orders
  • Certain products may have a product minimum described in the product information/specifications. 
  • If you would like to purchase less than the minimum, of any product please 
    call or e-mail our customer service at sales@whittamprecision.co.uk for a price quote. 
     

 

Cancellations
  • If you wish to cancel, or change all or part of an order, we suggest that you call  immediately to speak to a customer service agent. Once the order has left our warehouse, customer will be responsible for all shipping charges. 

 

 Authorised Returns
  • All returns must be pre-approved by Whittam Precision Rules for return. An RMA number will be issued. The RMA number must be clearly marked on the package. In addition, the package must be returned to the address provided by the customer service associate at the time of issuance of RMA. Merchandise returned to the wrong address or without an RMA number will be returned to the sender at their expense.
  • For items that become defective within 30 days of delivery, Whittam Precision will pay all freight costs.
  • For defective items, over 30 days, but still within their warranty period, the customer will pay all shipping costs.
  • Please be very careful when selecting products for purchase. All product descriptions are not intended to indicate a product's fitness for any particular application, or suitability for any purpose other than which it was intended. If you are in doubt, please inquire with our customer service. 
  • Custom made products are not returnable for reasons other than defect - No exceptions.
  • Certain merchandise is non-cancelable and non-refundable. Examples include but are not limited to Custom-Made Rulers and Measuring Systems and Components.

Liability Disclaimer

In making a purchase, the customer agrees to all conditions of this document, and to hold harmless Whittam Precision Rules, and/or any manufacturer which it represents, from damages arising from ,  use of, or failure of any product which it sells. This would include, but not be limited to personal injury, and loss of productivity, etc.

 

Whittam Precision Rules does not make any representations or warrantees (implied or otherwise) regarding the accuracy or completeness of information or product description(s), in either the written or spoken form, and shall in no event be liable for any loss of profit, or any other damage, including but not limited to special, incidental, or coincidental damage.

In addition,  the customer agrees to hold harmless Whittam Precision Rules and/or any of it's assigns, and/or any manufacturer which it represents, from damages arising from untimely or erroneous delivery of ordered products.

 

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened stockable items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

Shipping


We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.


When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full kg.
